A print of David Croft’s original commentary notes from the Australian Grand Prix at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit, 8 March, 2026.

This Grand Prix ushered in the new era of Formula 1. New regulations, new engines, new teams and new drivers. Britain's George Russell started on pole and won the race in his Mercedes with teammate Antonelli in second and Leclerc's Ferrari in third place.
