Man City Premier League Champions May 2022 Special - Murray
Original commentary notes by John Murray
A print of John Murray's original commentary notes from the title-deciding match between Manchester City and Aston Villa at The Etihad on May 22, 2022.
Why we love this sheet...
It all came down to this. City needed a win to be sure of the 4th title in five years. But they left it late. Very late. With 15 minutes left to play, Pep Guardiola's men scored three goals in five minutes, including two from Gundogan, to beat Aston Villa 3–2 and take the title amid jubilant scenes on the blue side of Manchester.
The A2 Champions Special comes complete with every match and every result of the season - the perfect memento of a dramatic season.
Available as an A3 print-only or framed as well as A2 special edition print-only or framed.
All products include a letter of authentication verifying that these are prints of the original commentary notes.
What arrives.
Where the notes come from
Straight from the commentary box.
You're buying a print, not the original paper — and the value is in whose paper it was. We'd rather say that here than let you find out later.
- Supplied by the commentator who wrote it. We work with them directly, not the resale market.
- Reproduced, never recreated. Nothing retyped or tidied. The shorthand and corrections stay exactly where they fell.
- Signed editions are numbered. Selected prints are signed by hand and limited.
